Miscellaneous special collections are comprised of many separate collections of individuals' papers and assorted material. Correspondence of Bernard Lewis, a publicist for independent film distributors, especially foreign film distribution, 1960s through early 1970s. Miscellaneous correspondence and other information of Technicolor Motion Picture Corporation, 1930s. Patent applications, articles, news clippings, and a manuscript concerning the inventor who improved early film projection equipment, L. A. Augustin LePrince. Two unpublished manuscripts and published material of Jim Tully. Letters to Madelyn Riker, 1939-1961. Correspondence, court documents, reviews, publicity material and other documents related to distribution of foreign films by Joseph Burstyn, Inc. Papers of entertainment lawyer, Fanny Holtzmann, whose work represents various actors and actresses and several productions including Edmund Goulding, Gertrude Lawrence, THE BRIGHT SHAWL and DESIGN FOR LIVING, ca. 1929-1962. In addition, collection of motion picture equipment catalogs, ca. 1901-1931; a variety of other types of catalogs, contracts, film casts and synopses, press material, and press clippings, and cinema programs, film magazines, pressbooks, and scrapbooks of news clippings of various actors and actresses.
